I have had an eye stye for 2 weeks in my left eye (originally in my right but this recovered well within 5 days although my eye is still a little bloodshot). Although the stye in my left eye has significantly reduced, my eye is still bloodshot, even a little painful and the skin around the eye is very sensitive, sore and puffy. I have used antibiotic drops and soothing eye drops but it doesn't seem to get better. I have stopped warm compresses because this morning it made it worse. I have not changed any creams. I have taken today some antihistamine which has helped with the itching. The itching in general has reduced but the compress made it worse. I hope you can help me.
